For $30+ per pax, this place leaves a lot to be desired. You're left to wait for minutes at the entrance. There are staff around just talking to each other. And then when you finally get a table, it's soooo noisy with the staff constantly clanking the dirty dishes. I wonder if they do it on purpose? Not the most pleasant meal.

Not only has the standard deteriorated, the serving size has also shrunk considerably. I had ordered the sashimi salad but opted out of certain types of fish/squid, and when the salad arrived, there were barely 8 tiny cubes of fish dispersed on top a pile of salad. When I asked the staff, I was told that the restaurant no longer replaces any of the items which customers opt out of which is quite appalling as this was not the case previously. I cancelled the order and ordered the Tokusen salad instead which was almost equally miserable in quantity of fish. I can understand that prices of food has risen but I’m sure that customers would much prefer see a reasonable increase in price as opposed to being put off by poor service attitude and unacceptable serving quantum.

Always thought it’s a high end sushi place. Turns out it’s actually average price range sushi place. For the price the food quality matches well. Lots of fatty tuna choices. The place appears to have sushi on conveyor belt at one point but is decommissioned. The interior is much bigger than I thought with booths and window seats. Good family friendly dining option.

Quite a high end place, you cannot reserve a table because of the popularity. It does have good food, recommend the steak option. 😋 it is expensive but with good quality, so likely you can treat yourself once in a while.

food was amazing, enjoyed the seasonal menu. banger stuff as always. pity the staffs tho, it was super understaffed and could tell they’re very much overwhelmed.

This is probably the Sushi Tei with the best location and least crowded location in Singapore! Hidden on the 5th floor of Paragon with a great view!

With multiple location across the island, Sushi Tei never fail to satisfy cravings for some Japanese cuisine. The staff was friendly and prompt in taking our orders and refilling our beverage. The grilled squid is great though the dumplings were a little under flavor. The shabu shabu is also a nice portion to be shared between 2 people.

Amazing food. Great variety of dishes. Really fresh fish. Sushi was so tasty. We had to wait on the line for more than thirty minutes to get in, but definitely worth It. $230 for three persons is quite expensive for my (european) standards.
